How to escape hell in a cell WWE 2K23?
That’s the question that many WWE 2K23 players have to contend with in the giant steel structure of the facility.
Although the game will show you a quick hint when you first play a Hell in a Cell match, if you miss it or forget it, you can easily struggle to get out of a Hell in a Cell match. After all, as anyone who watched a HIAC match on TV knows, all the real fun happens outside the Cell.
This guide will then tell you how to break the walls of Hell’s Cell, climb into the cell, throw someone out of there, and jump on them from the top of the Cell to the floor of the arena.
WWE 2K23: How To Escape Cell’s Hell By Breaking Walls
Before you can explore all the goodness of Hell in a Cell, you have to let it go first. There are a couple of ways to do this.
First, you have to keep in mind that the cell only has four wall panels that can be broken. If you try it anywhere else, you’re wasting your time.
The only four panels that can be broken are the two in the front left corner and the two in the front right corner (closest to the camera).

When you and your opponent are outside the ring in a Hell in a Cell match, your controls are very limited. You can use your basic attacks, Irish Whip, and not much else.
Also, if you Irish whip your opponent, they’ll only run a short distance before collapsing, which is annoying.
Even if you want to break the Hell in a Cell wall, you need to get your opponent into one of these corners.
The first way to do it is to simply Irish whip them into one of the breakable panels. If you’re lucky, it will break and you can step out of the cell with R1 / RB.

If you’re unlucky, they’ll just bounce off the wall, meaning you’ll have to try again.
There is another, safer way to break the Hell in a Cell panel, but it requires using one finisher.
Once you’ve built up enough momentum to get the finisher icon, take your opponent outside and attack him near one of the front corners.
If you can hit them in a way that makes them lean against the cell wall, you’ll see a prompt to perform a finish (R2 + X on Game driveRB + A on Xbox).

If you complete the prompt, you’ll smash them right through the cell wall, knocking you both out.
There are advantages to doing it this way, the most notable of which is that you deal more damage to your opponent.
It does use up a finisher though, and you might need another one soon if you’re going to climb the cell.
WWE 2K23: How to Throw Someone Out of Hell in a Cell (And Then Jump Out)
Once you’re outside the hell of a cell, the next logical step is to climb the thing.
Go to the center of the cell (from any direction) and you’ll see a prompt to climb it by pressing R1 / RB, then another prompt when you’re almost at the top.
There you can fight the opponent normally, but you have to be careful with the four square panels in the middle of the roof.
If you perform any powerful grapple move that ends with your opponent hitting the ground, they will fall through the cell and land in the ring. If it’s a move that makes you stand on the same panel, you’ll fall too.
If you want to throw your opponent out of the cell instead, Irish whip them to the edge and start attacking them with your light and strong attack buttons.
Eventually they stand confused at the edge of the cell and a button prompt appears to use the finisher (R2 + X on PlayStation, RB + A on Xbox).

Run the finalizer to throw them out of the cell and (if it’s not already broken) through the declaration table.
At this point you can climb back down the cell to continue the fight or just wait for them to recover (takes some time) and climb back up facing you.
Or if you fancy yourself daring, you can jump out of the cell and land on top of them as they lie on the arena floor.
You can do this by standing on the edge of the cell with your wrestler slightly leaning over it.

Then, if you press the light attack button (Square on PlayStation, X on Xbox), you’ll jump out of the cell and land on top of your opponent.
Annoyingly, you still have to get your opponent back in the ring to win the match, which is a bit of an anti-climax.
It also gives them the opportunity to turn around at some point and make a frankly unrealistic comeback.
