Walking Wake Tera Raid Guide: Walking Wake counter Pokemon

Clodsire

Walking Wake Tera Raid Guide: Counters, Dates, and More

Starting with the new Paldean form of an old friend, Clodsire is a great choice for this fight due to his abilities. Clodsire has the ability to absorb water, meaning it heals itself when attacked with water-type moves.

Combine this with a high defense level and Clodsire is very difficult for Pokemon Walking Wake to pick out of battle. Use Clodsire with Earthquake to deal significant damage to Walking Wake.

Quagsire

Like this Paldean cousin, the Water Absorb ability makes Quagsire a fantastic choice for raiding. Quagsire can also do some pretty significant damage against Greninja by doubling the damage of powerful ground-type attacks with Curse.

Azumarill

Water/fairy

Movements:

  • Belly drum
  • Play Rough
  • Aqua Jet
  • Liquidation

The raid powerhouse itself, Azumarill, has become an early favorite in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raids thanks to its incredible combination of Belly Drum and Play Rough. You’ll see a lot of Azumarill in lane, especially with the damage from Play Rough, but it’s still not as deadly as Walking Wake’s water script.
