Capcom has announced that the 1st place prize for the next Capcom Cup will be $1 million.
In a tweet sent to the official A street fighter The Twitter account announced that the next Pro Tour, which consists of numerous qualifying events around the world, will culminate in Capcom Cup X with the grand prize.
“Capcom Cup X is on Street Fighter 6 the winner will receive a whopping $1,000,000,” the tweet reads, adding: “Who wants to be a millionaire?”
The prize money was announced over the weekend at the Capcom Cup IX event, where it was also revealed that the total prize pool is over $2 million.

The next Capcom Pro Tour and Capcom Cup X will be the first official Capcom tournament with Street Fighter 6 as the main game.
Street Fighter 6 will be released on 2 June PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Steam.
One of its most notable new features is the World Tour mode, which allows players to create their own character, explore multiple open-world areas, and learn moves from existing Street Fighter characters.
The Deluxe Edition includes the Year 1 Character Pass, which includes four additional characters, four additional character colors, and 4200 Drive Tickets.
The Ultimate Edition includes the Year 1 Ultimate Pass, which adds eight character colors and 3,500 additional Drive Tickets.
Late last year, Capcom confirmed The complete line-up of Street Fighter 6 charactersfeaturing all eight original “World Warriors” from Street Fighter II.
