The official release date for Starfield has been announced. Bethesda’s latest title was originally slated for release in the first half of 2023, but is now slated for release on September 6, 2023.
The release date will come alongside ad that Xbox and Bethesda will hold a full Starfield Direct on Sunday, June 11th.
“Hey everyone, from me and everyone here at Bethesda, we’re so excited to finally tell you when Starfield is coming out this year,” Bethesda’s Todd Howard says in the announcement video below. “We’ve poured ourselves into this game and even I’m surprised by how much we can knock, it’s big.”
Announcing Starfield Direct, Howard says they’re bringing the fans “into the studio.”
“We still have so much to show,” he says.
“We really can’t wait for you all to play it.”
Starfield will be available for both PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles. It will also be available on day one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
