Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s latest update is reportedly deleting save files

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet save files have reportedly been removed due to a bug caused by the game’s latest patch and its connection to Pokemon Go.

The latest update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet allowed players to send postcards between Pokemon Go and Scarlet and Violet.

However, according to several users Redditthe game’s integration with Pokemon Go, which was introduced in the latest patch, has caused huge problems with the game’s save files.

Nintendo has yet to acknowledge the issue, although some Reddit users claim that when they open a ticket with Nintendo support about issues, they are told that the issues are being investigated.

It seems that simply updating the game to the latest version does not cause any problems in itself – the problems appear only when the game is connected to Pokemon Go.

Although it can be pointed out that players will not update to the latest version if they haven’t already, players who don’t want to update won’t be able to use online features like battles and Tera Raids.

VGC has reached out to Nintendo for comment on this story and will update it if we receive any new information.
