A new Nintendo Switch bundle is coming, says a prominent leaker.
According to a known leaker billbil-kun on Twitter, Nintendo plans to release a new Switch bundle to coincide with Mario Day (March 10) this year. Billbil-kun says the bundle includes three main parts: a Switch console with red joy consoles, a digital code for Super Mario Odyssey, and “something related to the upcoming Super Mario movie.”
In terms of pricing, he says it looks like it will cost around €269, which is likely around $299.
With Super Mario Bros. Nintendo’s hype train for one of the biggest first-party franchises for a movie coming out in April makes sense. However, there comes a time when fans get tired of the new bundles of the current console. As time goes by, fans start demanding more and more for a brand new Nintendo Switch. However, the company has said more about it games are under development and that the system is not ready to sunset, despite being six years old.
Insider Gaming reached out to Nintendo for comment on the new Switch bundle. A company representative said Nintendo “does not comment on rumors or speculation.”
