A new 15-minute gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2 has been uploaded to the official Xbox YouTube channeland it perfectly showcases both the impressive visuals and unbridled violence that the game has to offer on April 21st.

Dead Island 2 drops early, you know?
A couple of weeks ago it was announced that Dead Island 2 would buck the delay trend by publishing a week earlier as originally intended. This is fantastic news for zombie slaying enthusiasts, as since the big reveal at December’s Dead Island 2 event, fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of a game that has been in development for nearly a decade.
Here’s a 15-minute gameplay breakdown that showcases the FLESH decomposition system, which adds another layer of unbridled violence to Dead Island 2:
From massively customizable melee weapons to powerful ballistic weapons, Dead Island 2 is all about combat. It looks like the platform offers the perfect balance between comedy, arcade-style combat and shockingly violent, visceral effects.
In December, Dead Island 2 Collector’s Edition was revealed, which only further excited those fans who have literally grown up waiting for this game to drop.
