Lego says it has a ‘big reveal’ set for a Mario Day presentation


Lego is planning a “big reveal” related to Mario later this week.

By NintendoList of Mario Day events taking place on March 10 (MAA10), Lego is hosting a special presentation on their YouTube channel.

Billed as the YouTube premiere of Lego Super Mario, the event is claimed to feature “exclusive content and a big reveal from your host, Jack Gardner.”

The show begins Friday, March 10 at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET / 4:00 PM GMT.

It’s not clear if the reveal is related to more Lego Super Mario sets, a “premium” Lego Nintendo product, or something else like a discount on existing Mario sets.

Lego also tweeted a teaser about the event, showing behind-the-scenes photos of host Jack Gardner filming the show.

“Final preparations are underway for our Lego Super Mario YouTube premiere,” the tweet reads. “Tune in on March 10 for big updates and even bigger reveals.”

In addition to the numerous Lego Super Mario sets aimed primarily at younger Mario fans, Lego has previously released three “premium” Nintendo sets aimed at builders aged 18 and up.

The Lego NES was released in 2020, followed by a Lego Super Mario 64 themed question block in 2021 and a Lego Bowser in 2022.

Lego’s recent copyright warnings seem to confirm this It works with the Lego Zelda setalthough it’s unlikely we’ll hear any official announcement about this during the Mario Day show.

Mario’s former rival Sonic is also possibly planning a large Lego presence later on Five new Lego Sonic sets appeared online late last year.
