Lance Reddick, an actor known in the gaming world for his roles Destiny 2, Horizon Forbidden Westand Quantum Break, has died at the age of 60.
By TMZThe actor, who rose to fame with his roles in HBO’s The Wire and John Wick series, was found dead in his Studio City home on Friday morning around 9:30 a.m. local time.
“His cause of death is unclear at this time, but our law enforcement sources say it appears to be natural,” TMZ reports.
Reddick was scheduled to appear on the Kelly Clarkson show to promote his role in John Wick 4.
Reddick was best known in the gaming world for his role as Commander Zavala in the Destiny series. The actor played a central role in Destiny 2 since its launch and featured heavily in several of its expansions, most recently Lightfall.
Reddick is also known for his role as Sylens in the Horizon game series, where he provided both voice and facial capture for the character.
In addition to John Wick 4, Reddick was slated to play Zeus in the upcoming Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
