Is Azkaban in the legacy of Hogwarts?

Yes, you can visit Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy.
Although it doesn’t appear on the map, visiting Azkaban is part of an early side quest that can be accessed by one of the four houses.
Although you can’t return to the dungeon after completing the quest, and the area you teleport to is small, it’s your only chance to see dementors or the Expecto Patronumn spell.
How to get to Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy

To visit Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy, you must:
- Choose Hufflepuff as your Hogwarts house
- Play the early missions of the game until you save the old lady by the lake
- Talk to the portrait in the Hufflepuff common room
- Run above Hogsmeade and talk to Helen Thistlewood
- Then you prepare for Azkaban
That’s right, if you’ve chosen any of the other houses, you won’t visit Azkaban during that game round.
Fortunately, the mission itself is early in the game so you don’t have to play too much to get to it, but it’s still a weirdly iconic place to lock behind a house that has very little to do with it in the main canon.
You will be offered a quest around level 6 after you have defended the old woman by the lake. After completing this quest, you will receive an owl who will tell you that the portrait of the Hufflepuff Society wishes to speak with you.

This portrait is none other than Eldritch Diggory, Cedric’s great-great-grandfather and former Minister of Magic. You’ll be told about an unsolved murder, and directed to run to the north side of the map to pursue it.
There you will meet Helen Thistlewood who will take you to Azkaban where you can begin a short adventure.
Hogwarts Legacy Azkaban: Other Exclusive Quests
In the Hogwarts legacy, there are usually very few differences between each of the four Hogwarts houses in terms of game content. Although the common rooms are different, there is little to do in each except for brief interactions with students.
Before release, many players wondered if there would be exclusive quests tied to houses, and while each house technically has one exclusive quest, the result is the same.
As described above, Hufflepuff players get a special mission that takes them to Azkaban. Slytherin players get to go under the Hogwarts cave, which is home to The Black Lake’s Giant Squidd, although unfortunately we don’t get to see much of it.
Ravenclaw, on the other hand, gets an exclusive mission from Ollivander, and Gryffindor’s joins the Endless Hunt.
