Hogwarts Legacy Crucio is a very powerful spell that tortures the victim and causes them to take damage during combat.

Known as the Cruciatus Curse, Crucio is one of the three unforgivable curses. The three spells, Avada Kedavra, Imperius, and Cruciatus, are all part of Hogwarts’ heritage.

Strictly forbidden in the wizarding world, “using any of them on a fellow human being is enough to earn you a lifetime sentence in Azkaban”, but in Hogwarts’ heritage the rules don’t matter much, so you have no problem using The Cruciatus Curse.

In the Harry Potter legacy, the Crucio inflicts intense, excruciating pain on its victim, eventually leading to insanity if continued long enough.

Hogwarts Legacy Crucio: How to Get the Cruciatus Curse

So unlock Crucio in Hogwarts Legacyyou must complete the quest in the Sebastian Sallow questline. Eventually, as you complete more of them, you will be able to complete the quest “In The Shadow Of The Study”.

During this, you enter Slytherin’s Scriptorium with Sebastian and Ominis Gaunt to find out what happened to Noctua Gaunt.

Eventually you’ll come to a door that requires someone to perform a Crucio on another. You can either perform the curse yourself or have Sebastian perform it for you.

Either way, you can then cast a spell that damages over time any enemies you cast it on.

Since the Hogwarts legacy does not have a morality system, you will not be punished in any way for using it or other unforgivable curses.

Hogwarts Legacy Crucio: Updates

By using Crucio’s Curse on enemies, it damages them over time, binding them and stunning them for a few seconds.

However, if you have upgrade points available, you can make the spell even more powerful by combining it with the cursed mechanic. A cursed enemy marked with a bright green “X” on their body will take more damage than a normal enemy.

Crucio has the ability to curse an enemy, but if you upgrade the skill with your talent points, you can guarantee that the enemy will be cursed after Crucio hits.

Hogwarts Legacy Crucio: Other Unforgivable Curses

Hogwarts Legacy also contains two other unforgivable curses, the Imperius and the Avada Kedavra.
