EA is reportedly polling fans on Dead Space 2 & 3 remake interest


EA reportedly polling fans on whether they want to see reruns Empty space 2 and 3.

According to game developer Dillon Rogers, they received a survey asking “How interested would you be in a similar remake of Dead Space 2 (2011)?”

The survey reportedly asks the same question about Dead Space 3, which was released in 2013.

EA’s horror remake was released PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on January 27 and placed 2nd US Monthly Software Chart based on two days availability only (NPD reporting period covers January 1-28).

The publisher has yet to comment on whether it plans to release new remakes of the Dead Space games, but the latest release includes a new ending. which seems to link to the sequel.

Dead Space Remake Developer Motive announced last year it works on Marvel Iron Man game. VGC asked the creative director of Dead Space Roman Campos-Oriola what it meant for the possibilities of future remakes.

“For me, I like that it gives us a lot of traction in terms of finishing the game. Personally, I’m a big fan of Dead Space, but in terms of the future, I don’t know,” he said.

“I can’t speak for another project, but I can say that it’s not uncommon for studios to have multiple projects. Especially in big companies like EA.

“Recruiting, and again I’m just talking about Dead Space, is that I joined to work on this game and we have a lot of people like that here. This brand has a lot of appeal as a developer.”
