Capcom Spotlight Will Show off Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal and More Next Week


Next week, Capcom will reveal more details about upcoming games like Resident Evil 4 in the publisher’s Capcom Spotlight broadcast.

The Capcom Spotlight is set to take place on March 9th and will last approximately 26 minutes and will be shown Capcom Twitch Channel and YouTube channel at the following times:

  • Preview: 14:10 PT / 17:10 ET / 22:10 GMT / 23:10 CET
  • Main performance: 14:30 PT / 17:30 PT / 22:30 GMT / 23:30 CET

Capcom has promised that the broadcast will cover a wide range of games, including Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Rise, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.

It is not clear if the listed games include both the pre-show and the main broadcast. If not, we could see some additional, smaller titles introduced 20 minutes before the full Capcom Spotlight.

This is an exciting time for fans of Capcom games. The Resident Evil 4 remake is just around the corner and will be released on the 24th. March. Exoprimal, one of the Japanese studio’s next flagship titles, has yet to have its release narrowed down beyond 2023. As such, next week’s Capcom Spotlight may be the time we see the exact date arrive.

The Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective remake was announced as part of a Nintendo Direct last month. It updates the 2011 DS release in high definition and is currently slated for a mid-2023 release.

Outside of Capcom’s own games, it also seems likely that a Resident Evil collaboration is on its way to Fortnitewhich is set to take place in Chapter Four – Season 2.
