The next Assetto Corsa competition is coming within the next 18 months. According to the latest financial statements Digital BrosAssetto Corsa 2 is planned for next year.
“The second version of Assetto Corsa is currently under development and is scheduled for release in spring 2024,” the company said in the document.
As of December 2022, Assetto Corsa has sold over 28 million units worldwide. The game was originally released in 2014 and has generated more than 104 million euros in revenue for the company.
“Assetto Corsa faithfully recreates the performance and driving experience of real cars, reproducing tire grip, aerodynamic effect, engine parameters and various weather conditions,” the company says about its game. “There are almost a hundred cars to choose from, produced in cooperation with the most prestigious car manufacturers, which can be driven on legendary tracks.”
The company’s last game, Assetto Corsa Competizione, was released in 2018 and is the official game for the GT World Challenge motorsport championship. Unlike the original, Competizione only features tracks and cars from the GT World Challenge series. It is also the official game of the FIA Motorgames Esport Tournament.
So far, no other details are known about the next Assetto Corsa game. However, if the game is coming in spring 2024, this information should start coming later this year.
