Datalogized list of about 220 Pokémon which will apparently return to Scarlet and Violet as part of its upcoming DLC, has been released online.
Monday’s episode of Pokémon Presents revealed this The upcoming two-part expansion, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, reintroduces older Pokémon that are currently not found in the Paldean region. These include Milotic, Nintetails, Shiftry, Metagross, Seel, and Alcremie.
Now Pokémon Data Miner @mattyoukhana_ has stated that the recently released version 1.2.0 for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has removed a bunch of hidden Pokédex entries for Pokémon that aren’t currently in the game.
Although this doesn’t immediately seem to mean anything, mattyoukhana_ pointed out that this also happened with the version 1.2.0 update Pokémon Sword and Shieldand that when it did “every single one of the deleted entries made it into the DLC”.

As such, using the newly mined Scarlet and Violet data, they’ve put together a complete list of classic Pokemon returning for DLC.
There are 223 Pokémon on the list, which is still far less than the more than 530 Pokémon currently not included in the game.
While it’s unlikely that every Pokémon will return, the list is still missing some notable items that could indicate it’s incomplete. For example, it contains almost no Legendary Pokemon, which suggests either that Legendary Pokemon are obtained in a unique way, or that they are not included at all (which is less likely).
Pokémon Scarlet and VioletA raid system is one possible way Legendary Pokemon could return to the game – post-release, Game Freak has used this method to introduce other returning Pokémon that aren’t usually in the Pokédex and made them available for a limited time.
Since changing the series Nintendo SwitchPokemon games no longer have compatibility with every Pokemon from previous generations.
The decision, which met with fan backlash online when it was initially confirmed for Pokémon Sword and Shield, was derisively known as “Dexit”, a reference to both the Pokédex and Britain’s decision to leave the European Union, known as “Brexit”. .
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask will be released this fall and Part 2: The Indigo Disk in winter 2023.
Players who pre-order the expansion will receive a new uniform set that varies depending on which base game they have.
As an early purchase bonus, players who purchase the expansion before October 31st will receive Hisuian Zoroark, which is not available in the Paldean region. Hisuian Zoroark knows the Happy Hour move, is a dark tera-type, and has a charismatic mark.
